Castle Hall Diligence is the investment industry’s leading specialist in asset owner due diligence across hedge funds, private equity and long only vehicles. We offer a unique approach to due diligence, with more independence, flexibility, coverage and confidentiality. Above all, we are proud to Put Investors First.
Investors demand unbiased, independent opinions to ensure better risk assessment and superior investor protection. Castle Hall does not manage funds, build portfolios or act as an investment advisor. Our “Diligence Only” model unambiguously segregates the advocacy role of an investment advisor, paid to select specific funds and generate performance, from the governance, risk and compliance role of an effective diligence function. We also work only for allocators, not managers, avoiding the conflicts of interest which arise when a manager is – or could become – a client. For investors, Castle Hall contributes more independence to every diligence review.
Investors use Castle Hall to develop effective, risk based diligence programs across any asset class – and any manager. DueDiligenceProfessional™ is a fully flexible diligence solution, offering a graduated hierarchy of diligence options across operations, risk and cyber. Clients may conduct diligence on a fund by fund basis with no minimum retainer, or engage with Castle Hall on a portfolio basis – and benefit from the powerful portfolio analytics within the DueDiligenceProfessional™ risk app.
Investors have used Castle Hall to access a new level of diligence insight into more than 5,000 hedge funds, private equity and long only vehicles worldwide. Unrestricted coverage supports more investment options, from the largest and most established managers, to the smallest, entrepreneurial start up.
Investors’ confidential diligence information is always protected. Each Castle Hall diligence review is visible only to clients who have commissioned coverage of a specific fund, which keeps manager information private and ensures that client positions are always confidential. And, as we do not distribute reports on an open access basis, we can always be opinionated and critical when necessary.
Investors’ unique scope, content or compliance requirements can be incorporated into each diligence review under Castle Hall’s customized approach. DueDiligenceProfessional™ also supports reviews of managed accounts, funds of one and other investor specific structures, and is not limited to commingled, flagship funds.
